We are looking for the right tenants for our house which is set in a quiet rear strata block in the garden suburb of Hilton. The house will be let unfurnished except for one lounge. The house consists of three bedrooms and a study/office which adjoins the living/kitchen area, (note no dishwasher), bathroom with bath and shower, and a separate toilet. The house has evaporative aircon for summer and a traditional wood stove for winter. There is a covered patio area to sit outside and enjoy the garden. We have promised our good neighbours that there will be no parties or playing of loud music so our place will only suit quiet folk who like to keep plants alive! Please note that there is a private self-contained studio in the rear of the yard that we, as owners, occupy some of the time. This means that there is not complete privacy for tenants as the pathway into the backyard runs past the windows of the living area of the house on one side. Only people for whom this is not a problem should apply. There is space in the driveway for a car, or two cars, parked one behind the other. The kitchen has had a renovation, (please note there is no dishwasher). There is space in the garden for veggies and there are numerous potted plants including a Kaffir Lime and Curry bush, a small pond with a flowform and water plants. We are looking for tenants for whom the rental price is doable and will appreciate and care for the place and be good communicators during the lease period, initially for six months.
